These terms are an agreement between you and DYKOS Media Inc ("DYKOS", "we") about the Walkline app and website. By using Walkline you accept them.

1. Personal use only

Walkline is free for personal, non-commercial use, such as mapping your own home. Using Walkline or its plans, photos or exports for commercial purposes (including real estate listings, quotes, client work, camera installation, insurance claims or any paid service) requires written permission from DYKOS. Contact our sales department to arrange a commercial licence.

2. Measurements are estimates

Walkline measures with the iPhone's LiDAR scanner. Its measurements, areas, square-footage figures and camera-coverage estimates are approximate. They are not a survey and must not be relied on for construction, legal, valuation or safety decisions. Check anything critical by hand or with a professional.

3. Edited photos

When you remove furniture from a photo, Walkline labels the result "Edited: furniture removed" and keeps the original. Don't remove the label or present an edited photo as unedited. Only movable items may be removed; walls, fixtures, views and the condition of the property must not be changed. Laws and listing rules (for example California AB 723) may require disclosure when you use edited photos.

4. Your content

Your scans, plans and photos belong to you. You're responsible for having the right to scan a property and to photograph the people and things in it, and for what you share. We only process what you choose to upload, and only to provide the feature you asked for; see the privacy policy.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use Walkline to break the law, invade anyone's privacy, scan property without permission, or plan surveillance that is unlawful where you are. Don't try to copy, reverse-engineer or resell the app.

6. Tips

Tips are voluntary, are made through Apple, unlock nothing, and are not refundable except as Apple's rules allow.

7. No warranty and limits of liability

Walkline is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, DYKOS isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made using Walkline's measurements, plans or camera-coverage estimates. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law.

8. Apple

These terms are between you and DYKOS, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Walkline and isn't responsible for any claims about it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and continuing to use Walkline means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Questions: [email protected].
